How often do you read headlines starting with five people killed in head on collision? Four people killed in a head on collision. Three people dead after head on collision. Two people have died after a head on collision. On January 1, 2021, except for the grace of God, perhaps you would have read another headline of a woman and her twenty-three years old son killed in a head on collision; that would have been me and our son.

Saints Abiding in Light and Truth

Perhaps, it might appear that I am callous to what is happening in our nation; but that is far from truth. I was born in Montgomery, Alabama in the late sixties and lived there for forty years. I understand and respect peaceful protesters on the frontline for America’s laws to change, enforcement of current laws and ensuring justice for all.
