Let Jesus Drive!

How often do you read headlines starting with five people killed in head on collision? Four people killed in a head on collision. Three people dead after head on collision. Two people have died after a head on collision. On January 1, 2021, except for the grace of God, perhaps you would have read another headline of a woman and her twenty-three years old son killed in a head on collision; that would have been me and our son.

Open Up Your Door

Would your temple be ready if Jesus knocked on the door during an unannounced visit? If not, would you tell Him to wait outside until you tidy up? Or would you tell Jesus to reschedule?  As Christians, why would we not be ready for a visit from Jesus?

The Valley of Despair

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. (II Corinthians 4:8-9)

The Faith Hall of Fame

Are we making an impact on the world or is the world making an impact on us? We have faced many uncertainties and challenges in 2020. Sadly, the world was, and still is, in a bad state that the heart of GOD is not just troubled, but deeply troubled, that He regretted creating mankind. (Genesis 6:6-8)

It Is Finished!

“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in our way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naïve people. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” (Romans 16:17-18, 20)

I’ve Got Your Back. Do You? Really!

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Welcome to the Spiritual Academy of Ants

“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man. (Proverbs 6:6-11)

Knowing Your Frenemies?

Are you aware of your friends and frenemies relationships? Do you know when mutual friends of frenemies are betraying you? I enjoy watching British shows and just started watching a new series titled ‘Sticks and Stones.’ It is about a company downsizing and will get rid of one of four employees in Sales. Three coworkers get together and plan to bully Thomas, Sales Manager, into becoming unstable so he is fired and their jobs are secure.
