Spiritual Surrender Empowers Me

Are you familiar with the term Broken Arrow? https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Broken_Arrow refers to it as the U.S. military’s code used during the Vietnam War. Broken Arrow was the term used only in the direst of tactical situations when a ground unit was overrun by enemy forces. When “Broken Arrow” was heard on the radio nets, all available aircraft were diverted to provide close air support for the endangered command.

Spiritual Boxing Until Eternal Life

26Therefore, I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27No, I strike a blow to my body and make it so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. (I Corinthians 9:26-27 NIV)

It Depends Who’s Saying The Storm Is Coming!

“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” (Revelation 3:3)

Mind Your Spine But Mind Your Mind At All Cost!

I would like to start off with my special thanks to everyone for prayers and reaching out to see if I was okay, since I had not blogged in a while. Blogging was on my mind but my thoughts were no one would miss my blogs, or me. I was highly mistaken! After receiving phone calls, messages and last night’s encouragement from sisters in Jamaica, I promised to publish a blog this evening.

Even while writing this blog, one of my spiritual mothers called to check on me and the family, and also stated that she had not seen a blog in a while.

Two people have died after a head on collision. On January 1, 2021, except for the grace of God, perhaps you would have read another headline of a woman and her twenty-three years old son killed in a head on collision; that would have been me and our son.

Open Up Your Door

Would your temple be ready if Jesus knocked on the door during an unannounced visit? If not, would you tell Him to wait outside until you tidy up? Or would you tell Jesus to reschedule?  As Christians, why would we not be ready for a visit from Jesus?

If We Remain Silent Stones Will Cry Out

“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. (Ezekiel 3:18-19)

The Temple of the Holy Spirit

“What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy [Spirit] which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” – I Corinthians 6:19-20
