Highly Mistaken

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister whom they have seen cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God MUST also love their brother and sister. (I John 4:20-21)

Who Is Representing You?

Would you represent yourself in a trial if you are not an experienced attorney or have limited knowledge of judicial systems? It would be wise not to represent yourself when your freedom and life are at jeopardy. An experienced attorney with a proven record would be crucial in your case.

Is The Word Heart The Same As The Mind?

The heart is an example of emotional thinking, whereas the mind is an example of logical thinking. The heart controls our feelings and emotions, while mind refers to an entity that allows us to think and help us in making logical and rational decisions. The heart is preferred when decisions are taken about human relationships. http://www.difference.wiki/heart-vs-mind/

Control Hearts To Save Souls

Above all else, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give carful thought to the paths for our feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” (Proverbs 4:23-27)

The Great Deceiver Is Alive

“When we play with sin, sin ends up playing us.” – Dr. Tony Evans. Now the serpent was craftier than any of the wild animals the LORD GOD had made. He said to the woman, “Did GOD really say, you must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”(Genesis 3:1)

If You Want To Live Look It Up

“Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding. I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching. For I too was a son to my father, still tender and cherished by my mother.” Then he taught me, and he said to me, “Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live.’

A Slap in Jesus’ Face!

“‘The high priest then asked Jesus of His disciples and of His Doctrine. Jesus answered him, “I spake openly to the world; I taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Why askest thou me? as them which heard Me, and I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.’

Which PATH Do You Choose?

“Make level PATHS for your feet.” (Hebrews 12:13a) I shared a photo of purchased PATH water to make a spiritual point while in pursuit of purchasing organic foods and water with electrolytes after getting a diagnosis of Dermatographic Urticaria (DU). The water is unbelievably fresh, refills are available, and the bottles are solid to use for a while.

God Cannot Do Everything!

If God cannot do everything, where did our power to do everything including lying and showing favoritism? Satan! What is favoritism? It is showing partiality or bias giving preference to one person over others. It is similar to discrimination based on conditions such as race, social class, wealth, faith and other status.

Unfriend Satan and His Demons

“But your iniquities have separated you from GOD, and that our sins have hidden His face from us that He will not hear.” Is the Scripture contradictory? No, sin separates us from GOD, but not from His love. Our Father loves all souls and wish no one should perish. Sadly, not all souls will be saved as there are consequences for our disobedient to Him.

When Sin Knocks At Your Door

It is imperative to be ready since Jesus is returning like a thief in the night. I share my recent experience since it reminded me of Matthew 25:13 Revelation 3:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Revelation 16:15; Matthew 24:43-44; and Luke 12:39-40.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21)

How Deeply Rooted Are You In Christ?

The lesson of the “Parable of the Sower” describes the importance of being deeply rooted in the Word. “Those on rocky ground are the ones who receive the Word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while but fall away in times of testing.” (Luke 8:13)

Commitments, Consequences, Choices

“All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. The Lord works out everything to its proper end–even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. (Proverbs 16:1-2, 4-5)

Whose Voice Are You Listening To?

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness. The voice of the Lord is over the waters, the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the might waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars. The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning. ” (Psalm 29:2-7).

The Devil’s Deadly Deceptions

Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. (Proverbs 4:14-17)

Rooted and Grounded in God’s Word?

“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on His laws day and night. Worries Don’t Worry. Why Should We?

Perhaps most of us, if not all, are going through something with our health, bereavement, financial difficulties, spiritual and mental issues or family problems. However, we must remember the GOD we worship is bigger than anything we could face in this world; even though it appears otherwise. We should learn to focus on GOD’s beautiful creation to help ease worried minds.

“Etiquette Tips” for Christian Facebook Users

Written By Emily Post

Don’t gossip. The rules of the tongue apply to the keyboard as well. Give care that what you say is true as well as helpful. If James were to write James 3:6 today, it might read as follows, “And the keyboard is a fire, a world of iniquity…”. Lying, gossiping, stating as truth what we do not know to be true, etc. are as wrong on Facebook as they are when speaking to another face to face.

Spiritual Pruning, Dare To Be Different

“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had not root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop-a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Matthew 13:3-9)

True Beauty

Our thoughts on the definition of “True Beauty” is not important since GOD is the ultimate authority on this subject matter. His thoughts supersede ours as stated in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
