Cultivate A Spiritual Mindset: Day 3

Photo below is the tree that was planted in the front yard of our house we purchased many years ago. It did not grow so my husband pulled it up with no effort because it was not deeply planted to root.

Below are two different trees in the front yard several years ago. One is dying because I pruned it without knowledge to do so and another type of tree was born from the same hole.

The second photo shows the new tree overshadowing the dead similar to how our new life in Christ should overshadow our old life as sinners.

Our change as followers of Christ should be visible in a dying world.

The three photos below show the incredible growth of the tree that we did not plant but God allowed to grow from something dead.

Photos below show as soon as we are rooted and grounded in our faith and have removed ourselves from people and things that knock on our mind to disturb our peace, here comes the devil.

The first one displays visible evil influences, and the second photo is subtle demonic forces hiding behind leaves like wolves. We must stay vigilant and sober to not fall prey to ferocious wolves.

After my husband sprayed the demonic forces on the tree, they soon died to make room for the beautiful colorful berries below. Our minds must be kept sprayed with the word of God to combat Satan and his demonic beings. We must stay deeply rooted and grounded in the faith.

Quote

We have many biblical figures and people in our lives who encourage us to protect our peace while walking on this difficult journey called life. Be like a tree allowing God’s Word to mold and shape us. — Tangie T. Woods

Satan will rise from every side, and when he raises his evil head before your presence, bow yours and pray. — Tangie T. Woods
