Thankful Thursday

“It’s Thursday, think positive and positive things will start happening.” — Unknown

Spiritual Mother Copeland shared “I don’t really need a special day to be thankful. I am thankful EVERY day! Have a beautiful day…There’s always a reason to be thankful.”

Thankfulness for Spiritual Mother Copeland

After 40 years living in Montgomery, Alabama, I relocated with my husband and children leaving everything and everyone I had ever known, my family, friends, colleagues, brothers and sisters-in-Christ and the home of my mother until she died in 2017. I understood Moses when he said, “I had been a stranger in a strange land.”

Spiritual Mother Copeland took me under her wings before my mother’s death and I am so thankful to God for preparing her heart to receive and welcome me and my family with motherly love. We love our spiritual mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

When I presented this beautiful lily to Spiritual Mother Copeland about a year ago, it was a smaller flower in a pot. It was taken out of the pot, and they planted it in their yard. After receiving the above photos, a couple of days ago, I immediately thought truly this is a beautiful lily in the field of caring hands and jokingly said I want it back.

I cherish every moment and make the most of the time when Spiritual Mother Copeland and I are together. “The lily’s delicate petals remind us that life is fragile and fleeting and that we should cherish every moment and make the most of the time we have.” — Unknown

    1. Pat, thank you for your kind words. At first, I was extremely homesick and quietly regretted decision but I totally agree with you and I too have been blessed and love living here. Felton had an unknown responsibility too for our relocation. Have a great evening. 🤗
