  The primary purpose of miracles was to confirm the word of God. His Word is confirmed. If “miracles” do not happen in our lives, do we not believe in His Word and/or His existence until the next “miracle”? God still intervenes in the lives of mankind through divine intervention; therefore, miracles are no longer needed (my personal belief).
