Before the Throne of God Above

“In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me; “Flee like a bird to your mountain” (Psalm 11:1).

“For look the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord is on His Heavenly Throne.’

‘He observes everyone on earth; His eyes examine them. The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked those who love violence, He hates with a passion. On the wicked He will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; the upright will see His face” (Psalm 11:2-7 NIV).

My husband’s sermon yesterday was titled “I Feel Like I’m HELL BOUND.” If we feel like we are hell bound, and our behavior lets us know that we are, then why thou tarry was the question from the sermon. If we have a habit of going to work late, not performing duties, and reprimanded several times, the next step is most likely job termination.

What do you think the next step would be if we continue tarrying and die in sin? It will be Hell bound based on the Scriptures when we bow before The Throne of God on The Judgment Day “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me ye that do work of iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23).

Conclusion and Questions

God said the earth will be burned up! He said it! I believe it and will not risk the salvation of my soul. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:12).

If God regretted that He made humans on the earth in Genesis 6:6, and His heart was deeply troubled, and in Verse 7 He said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created, all but eight to replenish the earth, do you think he will repeat His decision a third time when He already knows what the state of a new world would be like?

If God is going to judge us and Jesus returned to Heaven to prepare a place for prepared people, do you think God would entrust us to behave a third time on a new earth? “You know the way to the place where I am going”–the way is His Plan of Salvation (John 14:3-4)?

Study Scripture:

“…. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire, in other words” (Revelation 20:11-15).
