“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of suffering” (1 Peter 5:8-14).

Does Satan have you where he wants you, or me? Do you flee his influences or succumb to them? Do we allow Satan to chew us up, spit us out and leave us ashamed and weak in the faith. Do thoughts of leaving the body of Christ ever cross you minds? Do his many flavors of the world have unbearable strongholds on us that we relinquish our mind, body and soul to his demonic forces out doing his bidding of enticement?
“My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them.” If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood let’s ambush some harmless soul; let’s swallow them alive like the grave, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; cast lots with us; we will all share the loot.” (Proverb 1:10-14)
MY son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths; for their feet rush into evil, they are swift to shed blood. How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it. These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves! Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it. (Proverb 1:11-19)
We must encourage one another and not cause anyone to stumble. Sometimes it is difficult on the journey of spirituality in an ungodly world, must we make it even more difficulty by hurting one another? While we go about living our lives go forth and worship and praise God not in vain. Do not be prey for the devil.
So important we pray for each other so we do not fall prey
