Black history was not allowed in Montgomery, Alabama schools. However, since many of the civil rights marches and meetings took place in Montgomery, I heard stories from family members. In a recent conversation with Felton, I got the idea to share it via my blog. Many people in other countries were unaware of our ancestors hardships. I hope you get a chance to read previous posts on Black history. I had no idea about some of this history until I started researching.
