“I am not my hair. I am not this skin. I am the soul that lives within.” — India.Arie

When I look in the mirror, what do I see?
A Brown skin woman staring back at me.
Before you created me God, what did You see?
“A Brown skin woman to worship Me.”
“I am God, do not question Me, for you will see,
You are the lovely tone that I thought you to be,”
“Now leave it alone and accept who I made,
A Brown skin woman who is precious to Me.”

Yes, indeed. We are all created in His image (Genesis 1:26-27).

Yes and amen! Praise God! ” For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,” (Psalm 139:13-15)
