Flowers Do Not Compete and Neither Should We

We can learn valuable lessons from flowers that bloom!

I was working on a blog about flowers and weeds when a young sister-in-Christ, Ashley N., sent the above image. Since the image stated in fewer words than what I was writing, I chose to use it instead. I am hoping the young ladies start blogging so they can continue blooming planted in Christ. while encouraging others. We must keep them encouraged, uplifted and in prayers.

NOTE: The word above “superior” does not mean better than others but they should be considered “important” to us.

“There is a part of blooming which I did not understand, you see. You can be a flower all your life but still not understand it. Blooming is one thing; but blooming where you are planted is another. It’s so easy to say, “I will bloom when I am there”, but you need to be saying, “I will bloom right here, where I was planted.” Because until I bloom “right here”, I’m never going to actually bloom; because we cannot do it in concept, you see, we must bloom now. We must bloom here. The flower must trust.”

  6. Very nice post! I love the part which says that how we must bloom where we are planted and where we are right now in our lives. Such an important lesson in simple words that we are where we were meant to be and now is the time to shine.
