Teaching the Truth in Love

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:16-17).

Do not use your energy except for a cause more noble than yourself. Such a cause cannot be found except in Almighty God Himself: to preach the truth, to defend womanhood, to repel humiliation which your Creator has not imposed upon you, to help the oppressed.’

‘Anyone who uses his energy for the sake of the vanities of the world is like someone who exchanges gemstones for gravel. There is no nobility in anyone who lacks faith. The wise man knows that the only fitting price for his soul is a place in Paradise. — Ibn Hazm

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.’

‘But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, with the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only, but unto all of them also that love His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:2-8)

  1. I knew someone was missing, how have you been my dear? I’m not sure how or when but I must’ve messed up my settings trying to play around and experiment. Great to see you, hope all has been well. Ther’s a few others that have gone missing as well, lol.

    1. Still dealing with health issues but with God sustaining me I am hanging on. I learned the hard way to leave my settings alone. 😊 Glad for the reconnect. How are you?

  2. “Sometimes it is hard to know how to share the word.” I lifted that first sentence from the attached recording by the Acappella singers. How melodious and beautiful, Sister Tangie. Thank you quoting so many words of wisdom for your followers. I do understand whole heartedly. I had a difficult time finding the words to compose a Eulogy for my brother. But God is able to put the right words in our hearts and minds.

‘But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.’ Amen.
