If you fight battles wearing worldly armor, you are wearing armor to lose. — Tangie T. Woods
Our struggles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against authorities, against powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil.
The only way to fight battles is wearing the full armor of God so our feet stand firmly with the belt of truth buckled around our waist.
Make sure the breastplate of righteousness is in place to be ready for the evil days. Our feet must also be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Wait! Are you telling me we are still not fully suited for battle? Yes, I am.
We also need the shield of faith to extinguish many evil flaming arrows with our names on them.
When we go to battle, it is imperative to wear our helmet of salvation and take the sword of the Spirit, the word of God.
When fully dressed for battles, pray, trust and believe in our faith to fight until the Lord shows us the battles are now His to fight, not ours. We must surrender to His authority and leave the battlefield. (Ephesians 6:10-18).
