Be Like Caterpillars

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

“Look into nature and you will understand everything better.” — Albert Einstein. We know how caterpillars evolve into beautiful butterflies. I imagine if caterpillars understood negativity from us, they would not evolve into beautiful butterflies for thinking about what we said or think of them. Are we living to please man or God?

We must also evolve into someone beautiful according to Romans 12:2, and not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Why? So, we may prove what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. This world is ugly, if we resemble it, Heaven will not be our home.

What lessons can we learn from caterpillars? Listen to God. Do not let others define us. Do not let our past confine us. Take charge of our life with confidence and determination and not limit our abilities to evolve.
