Losing The Weight of The World

“When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear Your name, Lord God Almighty. (Jeremiah 15:16)

For us who are just passing through this world, we must recognize stressors of fiery arrows thrown at us from the hands of Satan’s demonic forces. I am sure we never imagined in 2022 seeing the sad state of our world. Many have exchanged their souls for power, positions and profits over people. Crimes have increased and the love for one another continues to diminish by the hour in this world gone mad.

While Satan raises people high and influences minds to harm others in words and actions, he is also planning their demise, turning them against one another to enjoy their path to Hell. Woe to inhabitants of the earth, Satan’s objective for us is to spend eternal damnation with him.

We must not subscribe to worldliness and its foolishness. We must be strong and courageous in sharing the Word and live faithfully until death. Job told his wife she sounded like one of the foolish women saying curse God and die. “Do the hard right than the easy wrong.” — Unknown

We must not get caught up with foolish people. Instead, we must eat and delight on Scriptures and help others on the path to salvation. It bothers me to see many souls on the path to Hell.

“The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Fools show their annoyance at once but the prudent overlook an insult. An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. (Proverbs 12:15-19)

“A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil. Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Trouble pursues the sinner, but the righteous are rewarded with good things.” (Proverbs 13:19-21)
