The regenerated do not go to war, nor engage in strife. They are children of peace who have beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning forks and know no war. — Menno Simons

Are you familiar with crown thinning, the second type of tree pruning? This type involves removing weak branches from the trees’ crowns. Crown thinning reduces extra branches to allows greater penetration of light and air into trees to remove diseased branches and allows healthy branches to flourish with better distribution of nutrients. You must avoid removing too much mass from the center when performing crown thinning since it can impact the integrity of the tree structural.
We know the importance of structural integrity of buildings, houses, apartments and bridges supporting loads applied by natural phenomenon and pressure from the soil. The structural design goal is to safely transfer all loads to the ground without excessive movement of the structure. The same applies to us on our spiritual journey. Our structural support is Jesus, and His blood and God’s words are support beams holding up our integrity in an ungodly world.
“She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, those who hold her fast will be blessed. By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations by understanding He set the heavens in place; by His knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.” (Proverb 3:18-20)

Crown thinning in our life is essential to reduce sinning and allow greater penetration of light into minds removing diseased thoughts and allowing healthy thoughts and love to flourish in our mind due to the better distribution of nutrients. Matthew 5:14-16 states that we are the light of the world that cannot be hidden. Do you believe spiritual crown thinning can reduce the extra weight we carry? Matthew 28:19-20 informs us how to distribute spiritual nutrients into soil referring to the minds of men.
In conclusion, look at the tree in the above photo again and notice how healthy and green the leaves are resulting from crowning thinning by the Hand of God; we did not touch it for excitement of watching it grow and flourish. This is how the Lord should see us in excitement when we grow and flourish in obedience. This is an example of why we should not interfere with what God is doing in our life. Jesus’ blood is the solid integrity of our foundation holding up the temple that houses the soul.
In order to secure the salvation of our soul, we must faithfully practice crown thinning to reduce extra weight and worldly diseases for better distribution of spiritual nutrients. If you missed Day 1 post, you could read it below. I make effort to get posts out at 6:30 AM EST but pain and exhaustion overwhelmed my body last night.
