“I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive. Forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note, torn in two and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one.” –Henry Ward Beecher

Can you look beyond the behavior of those who hurt you? What about when you hurt others? Does forgiveness mean condoning their actions or behaviors? Is it difficult for you to forgive others, or to forgive yourself?
Regardless of how difficult it might be we must follow the teaching of Jesus on love and forgiveness to be in obedience with God’s commandments and to be at peace with Him and ourselves. Forgiveness is a form of worship with healing power. Do you believe Jesus is All to Us.
“Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.” (Revelation 2:10b)
