Do You Taste With Your Eyes?

The devil wants to destroy God’s beloved children and keep us divided in efforts to upset God. He also wants us to spend eternity in Hell with him.

Have you ever been guilty of craving food shown on commercials even when you were not hungry? Did the presentation make you imagine how good it must taste? Did you crave it enough and ordered it? Did you regret it because your tastebuds did not agree with the taste of your eyes?

Commercials entice our eyes and minds into tasting what we see, and this is how Satan entices us with camouflage influences to fall prey to sin. We must remain steadfast in tasting the genuine love in the word of God.

“Fear the Lord, you His holy people, for those who fear Him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” (Psalm 34:9-10)

  3. This is so true and the sometimes I don’t need a commercial or other things to tempt me because I’ve been exposed to them before. Thank you for God’s beautiful reminder and promise in Psalm 34. I lack nothing because I know Him.
