The Father’s Love & Kindness

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” “Every one of us needs to show how much we care for each other and, in the process, care for ourselves.” — Princess Diana

My Love & Kindness Prayer

Father, thank you for continually showing us love and kindness despite our shortcomings. Father, we want to live out your love and kindness in a world that has no understanding of civility. Father, help us to remember who You are, and You need no help from us because vengeance is Yours to repay. Help us keep our focus on You despite the world’s unwholesomeness that has been deeply rooted in evil. Help us to be an outlet of Your love and kindness.

      1. Most of what I’m battling is side effects of radiation (stomach lining took a hit). I do have specific bone pain (I’m told cancer in bones is more painful). I lived with pain prior to diagnosis (not knowing that there was cancer, but degenerative disc and spinal stenosis and more). So I say all of that to share that my specific prayer is for tumor shrinkage to ease pain burden as I don’t like having to take pain medication. Prayer and meditation are so important to me. It’s hard not having the energy level I used to know. BUT like you, I give it all to our Heavenly Father and keep praising him in the storm! We have such glory waiting for us! Much love and prayers. 💛💕🙏🏻

      2. Amen Karla, we will keep praising the Lord giving Him all the glory despite life’s circumstances. You said, “Not knowing that there was cancer, but degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis and more” sounds like everything I am dealing with except known cancer. However, I do have a diagnosis of MGUS which is a precancerous condition for Multiple Myeloma. Every three months I have labs done at the Cancer Center and see my hematologist/oncologist a week later to go over results. The were some minor increases in numbers but like you, trusting God regardless of my next labs/visit in January, Lord willing. We are wrapped in the Arms of a Loving Savior. I am glad everyone has moved closer to you.

      3. Oh, Tangie! I’ve never met anyone, except you, that has such similarities. I’d prefer neither of us endure this, but God has his plans and we both know why and how! I’ll be praying that your counts stay where need~and that “precancer” stays just that way. Tangie, years ago I was diagnosed with a blood disorder and an anemia that could not decipher. You and I both know it’s “all in the blood”! The blood of Jesus has made us whole and one day, whether we meet on this side of heaven or not, you and I are going to celebrate while dancing around our King! You’re such an inspiration to me. I’m sorry for all your pain and know you feel the same way~it gives me comfort that we’re going through this together and knowing we are sisters in Christ! Praise God! 💛🙏🏻💕

      4. Hi Karla, wow! Likewise as you are the only person I am aware having similar medical conditions. I, too, have blood-related issues, chronic iron deficiency anemia, and my body does no absorb iron well. Also, I bruise easily even without being touched, sometimes I do not know it. Love it “It’s all in the blood of Jesus.” Yes, God has His plan for us to help and encourage others; this is why the the Holy Spirit led me to blogging as an outlet to encourage and be encouraged. I hate you are enduring so much, Karla, but is sustaining our life for His reasons. I am glad our path cross because we can truly understand one another. My sister, you are always in my prayers and thoughts. Thank you always for your encouraging words. Stay warm and safe.
