My Soul Magnifies The Lord

And Mary said, “My soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.” (Luke 1:46-48a).

Sister Copeland’s prayer from Life Is Precious: “Good morning, Lord! Thank you for a new day. Thank You that Your compassion is renewed every morning. Great is Your faithfulness and Your steadfast love, O Lord! I don’t know what all is going to happen today, and how much I’ll get done, but You do. So, I give this day to You.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Father. Energize me for Your work, because You know how tired these bones are. Awaken me to the wonder of Your salvation and quicken my spirit to the reality of Your work in my life. Amen!

      1. Thanks so much. Eli came home from school Tuesday morning with what they think was a seizure. He was unresponsive and flopped over his desk. By the time the nurse got there, he was ok. We are praying that he doesn’t get sick again. It seems like that is a trigger. I am believing God for a miracle. That may not be His will and I am learning to accept that. God knows how it breaks my heart but He knows what is best and I trust Him. Thanks for your concern.
How are you? Hugs sent your way sister. 💜

      2. Hi Donna, I, too, have prayed for divine intervention in Eli’s health concerns. We will keep uplifting him in prayer. Yes, God knows all things and for now we thank Him for Eli’s life on earth and whatever purposes God is using his life to be a blessing to others. He has a loving and supportive family that so many children, youth and even adults wish they had. Together, we remain hopeful. Hugs and blessings to you, Eli and the family.

  1. Wow. I lovvve the Magnificat. That was so beautiful. It has been a long and very exhausting week as we are recovering from Hurricane Ian here in SW Florida. I would ask that you pray for us all here in our rebuilding and healing. There has been much trauma of body, mind, spirit, and property. God’s people are their best selves in the face of such disasters, though. It is so good to see how God uses these worst of times to help us see the best in all of His kids.
From one sister to another, Peace in Christ

    1. Hello Linda, I live in Florida too but was not affected. So, I will not even attempt to say I know how you feel; it would be a lie. I cannot imagine how you and others affected will began to start building with the mental woes of your mind and body. We have been praying for everyone affected and for those families who are now bereaving the loss of family members. Be assured many congregations here and far have gathered and are gathering much needed items and have sent donations and will send donations including me. It always amazes me how in the worst of times people and agencies come through to help when needed. From one sister to another, thank God for your life and the opportunity to continue serving out His purpose for you. Blessings my sister and my heart truly aches for everyone affected by the disastrous hurricane. Please remain hopeful in our Heavenly Father.

  2. Hi Linda. My name is Donna. I just read your response to Tangie. I wanted to say that I care. I cannot even begin to imagine what you are all going through. I pray the Lord helps you all with everything that you need. We serve such a good God. He is rich in mercy and love. I know that He alone can and will hold His children together through everything. Sending good wishes your way.
