Which Warning Is Most Important?

He replied, When evening comes, you say, “It will be fair weather, for the sky is Red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is Red and overcast. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.'” (Matthew 16:2-3)

Meteorologists predict weather conditions such as hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis and thunderstorms, etcetera. These are times we are advised to purchase water, nonperishable food, batteries, toiletries and other supplies. Some choose to evacuate, and others will ride out the storms.

God warned us of promises that Jesus will return, and we will be judged. Have we obeyed His Plan of Salvation? What about in Matthew 25:1-46 such as exceedingly great and precious promises to be partakers of the divine nature escaping this world’s corruption? “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” (Verse 46)

“For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? If it is hard for the righteous to be save, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner.” (1 Peter 17-19)

If we acquire these things, it shall make us neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am definitely going down this aisle to be purged from my old sins for entrance into the everlasting kingdom our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:1-11)

Final Thoughts

Jesus’ return and the judgment of God are two storms we will not ride out. So, if we heed to man’s warnings, it behooves us to take heed to God’s warnings to save the salvation of our soul. Which warning is most important? God does not play with words to cater to what our ears want to hear. We have two choices as free moral agents; follow Jesus to Heaven, or Satan to Hell.

“Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” (Revelation 22:20-21)
