Do You Have An Undivided Heart?

Teach me Your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. (Psalm 86:11)

Are we welcoming dividing invaders into our hearts [minds]? I, too, have fallen prey to some of these invaders and repented. I strive to not follow the emotional masses in defying God’s laws in word, thought or deed. We are a disobedient world suffering consequences of sins like unbelieving hearts in the first world, but Noah and family found grace in God’s eyes.

God released, in my opinion, portions of His wrath for us to feel labor pains before His Son returns. Converted Christians must not be distracted by the world’s points of view when God gave no law authorizing our emotions to supersede His commandments.

“‘Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For the two, He says “Shall become one flesh.'”

‘But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.’

‘Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.'” (I Corinthians 6:15-20)

The words and actions of converted followers of Jesus must be seasoned with godly salt and show respect to those who think, act and believe differently than Jesus. We must remain steadfast in the faith and stand firmly on book, chapter and verse. Preach Jesus! Nothing Else! God will judge accordingly.

We obey laws of mankind for fear of going to jail. We disobey laws of God with no fear of going to Hell. Let us keep an undivided heart to spend eternity with God. ! — Tangie T. Woods

  1. I like that what you said, “God released, in my opinion, portions of His wrath for us to feel labor pains before His Son returns.” The other quote by Tangie T Woods is a good one too. Good original stuff, inspired by God’s Word through Jesus Christ.

    1. Hello Karla, I hope you are fairing well on this beautiful day that the Lord blessed us to see. Undivided heart is crucial on our Christian (spiritual) journey. Demonic forces are definitely working overtime to keep us divided between God and the ungodly world. I agree, there is no other freedom like the freedom in Christ (peace, love, harmony and the plan of salvation.) Have a wonderful restful day.

    1. Thank you, Esther. You are definitely right. Sadly, many are afraid to publicly address what God said. Christians who state they are converted cannot hide within walls of worship service building preaching and teaching one thing but outside those walls is afraid to do so. I make no apology for sharing God’s Word because my allegiance is to Him. Consequences of my sins are mine alone to bear, not on the shoulder of the world.

  3. You worded it well. God bless! I couldn’t have done it better, thus I reblogged it because I agree. Standing on God’s sure Word not matter what as He never changes.

    1. Thank you so much Lily. Indeed, we must stand firm on His word, and not allow emotions to supersede His authority. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day/night and remain safe.
