Safe Dwelling Place

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the House of the LORD forever. (Psalm 23:6)

I have not published much this week due to excruciating neck and right shoulder pain, and appointments in recent days. On the 21st, I had a two-hour appointment with the Orthodontist to remove braces. Yes! I had second shingles vaccine at primary care physician’s office and my last appointment was labs at Florida Cancer Specialists for next week’s hematologist/oncologist appointment, Lord willing.

On the 22nd, I saw the dentist to discuss plan for additional dental work and discuss importance of wearing my retainer since I am a teeth grinder. We scheduled four more appointments for the remaining of this year. Lord willing, on January 3, 2023, the oral surgeon will do final implant replacing a tooth.

Yesterday, I went to my pain management physician for an injection in my right shoulder due to excruciating pain. Also suffering from fluid in my neck, bursitis and a pinch nerve. I am praying neck surgery is not needed after EMG/NCS results. I have also been experiencing back pain and stiffness.

Despite medical issues and pain, negativity and transgressions against God’s commandments in the world, I am thankful for His guidance on my journey. “Go in peace. Your journey has the Lord’s approval.” (Judges 18:6)

One day He will set me free from this wicked world and from the depths of Hell. Do you want Heaven to be your eternal safe dwelling place?

    1. Hi Ellie, I have many things happening health-wise due to a 2009 work-related accident. I have had 16 surgeries and spent about four years in physical therapy throughout the years and see specialists for almost every part of my body. I could not make it physically, mentally or spiritually without God.

      1. Oh, Tangie. I’m so sorry you’re going through so much pain following your accident. I hope your work at that time compensated you for the injuries you’ve suffered. Strangely enough, my disability was caused by a funfair accident, so I know how devastating these things can be. Sixteen surgeries must have left you exhausted and understandably in much pain. I feel for you so much. I’m so glad you have God to comfort and strengthen you at this time. Do take care of yourself, my friend. My prayers, thoughts and wishes are with you. Love Ellie xx 💖💐💝
