Highly Mistaken

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister whom they have seen cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God MUST also love their brother and sister. (I John 4:20-21)

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out in the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. (1 John 4:1-3)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (Galatians 6:6-10)

The hatred I see posted by “Christians” in the Lord’s Body on social media platforms are very highly mistaken and have been removed from all my sites. My mind does not need to see additional ungodly comments about those they feel do not meet their standards of human beings.

FINAL THOUGHTS

“God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth.” (John 4:24) If we say we love God and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth but harbor hatred in our hearts, we are high mistaken if we think our worship to Him is acceptable. If we want to make Heaven our home, we must love God, and everyone.

“All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous act are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)
