Patiently wait for your calmness. “The same ocean that brings a tsunami can sail a ship on calm water.” — Felton D. Woods

How are we to find hope in an ungodly world when worship services are not sacred, and some identify as Christians do not worship God in Spirit and in Truth? How do we encourage those struggling with depression? Loneliness? Physical, mental or spiritual exhaustion?
How do we encourage single parents to keep hope alive? What about unemployed parents who can no longer care for their families? Let us not forget the silent sufferers dealing with health issues and broken hearts?
Whatever life throws our way, wear the whole armor of God with courage, faith and perseverance to shield our soul’s destiny. Christians are not free from trials and tribulations; but the outcome depends on Isaiah 59:2.
In November 2018, I spoke at a ladies’ day program with theme “A Christian Woman Through the Ages–Trials & Triumphs at Every Age” speaking from a middle-aged woman’s perspective from Proverbs 11:16a.
I concluded our journeys are not always easy but as disciples of Jesus we must allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. How we overcome our trials through triumphs are testimonies to encourage hope for others.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Job suffered physically and emotionally. He lost his children, his wealth and dealt with his wife who talked like a foolish woman saying curse God and die. Job’s end result was due to his faith in God and his righteous attitude in the midst of his suffering (Job 1:20-22).
What about us? Attitude is a major role in our outcome. “The Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning…” (Job 42:17)
Thank you, Eileen, for sharing. Have an awesome day/night and remain safe. 😊

“The Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning… We take it by faith and later look back and see that it has been true for us, too.
