“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Our lives can change in a New York minute like mine did in 2009, resulting in thirteen surgeries, years of physical therapy, suffering with chronic pain and numerous other diagnosed conditions.
A recent MRI and memory test resulted in diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment: a symptom of post-concussion syndrome. Lord willing, I am scheduled next week for tests to check for signs of seizure activities.
Also, will meet with pain management physician for Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Studies checking for diseases resulted from damaged or malfunctioning of nerves that causes weakness, numbness and pain in hands and feet. I have symptoms and no reflex in right arm.
I have fluid and pinch nerves in my neck pending potential surgery after results of NCS/EMG studies. I believe God is still God, and we are to cast all cares on Him to be lifted up in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6-7).
FINAL THOUGHTS
Our worries and anxieties should never supersede God’s love for us. He is still God and Sister Copeland’s message yesterday reminded me “Being alive is a gift from God. I will be grateful for every single moment. Amen!”
I am praying for wisdom for your doctors; and healing, comfort, and peace for you.🙏🌺

My heart sunk reading about the ordeal you are going thru. I had to turn the Foster Sister’s music down because it was too beautiful to listen to at that moment. After a minute, I realized I could make it thru my doctor appointments because you are making it thru yours. Thanks for enduring. Jesus has a home for us where all things are new, and I know that there is plenty of hope in this world for physical relief.

🙏. Thank you for sharing your heartfelt thoughts and personal experience. It took me a long time to follow the Holy Spirit’s nudge to blog. I finally realized it was not about me but to share as an encourager and to be encouraged by fellow bloggers as you. I am so blessed to be in this support virtual community. Have a wonderful weekend.

Gosh, you have been through a lot. It’s very true – and sobering – to see how quickly life can change. I’m sorry you are having to live with this.

Thank you. I have my brief moments but thoughts quickly return to God is still God. I imagine many are worse than me and would exchange conditions. I love how Apostle Paul, Job and many others biblical figures maintained their faith in God while dealing with their thorns. Like the title of your blog “Don’t Lose Hope.” Have a wonderful weekend.

Tangie, you and I are truly sisters. Our diagnosis’s are also the same. Mine all came after my accident in 2006 at age 36. I had another TBI in 2014. Through it all, like you, I’ve leaned on the power of Christ. When my career was upended, relationship shattered, my sons joined the Air Force, everything….when I was at the bottom of bottoms and didn’t know how to go on, HE was there. With hope. Like Paul I boast on my weaknesses. I know the suffering I have here will all be glory one day. Through it my relationship with my Savior has grown. Through all your tests my friend, your pain, the uncertainty, God is using YOU to help those like me. You are a light in this world. Your testimony touches so many. I pray for you, my friend. May God heal the hurt and continue to bless you and those around you. Love, Karla 💛❤️🙏🏻🤗

Concur, Karla, how God is using us to encourage others. I think about Apostle Paul, Job and other biblical figures who did not lose faith or hope while enduring their thorns. We are blessed to be in a virtual community of encouragers and thank you for sharing your experiences. Have a great weekend, friend.
