Do You P.U.S.H.?

“First seek the counsel of the Lord.” (1 King 22:5)

Do you make life changing decisions without seeking counsel from God through our Mediator, Jesus the Christ? Do you have daily conversations with the Father when life is great or wait until life becomes difficult?

Do you seek counsel from family, friends, coworkers and even strangers in passing? Sadly, not everyone means the best for us and will purposedly give ungodly and bad advice. I knew two married couples where each wife sought advice from female friends. Both were told to leave their husbands and did. One friend became the second wife of one of the ex-husbands.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Always P.U.S.H., through the only Mediator between us and God before taking it to someone else. I believe He will steer us to the right person to talk with. Why? He will put godly words in their mouths to provide advice through His divine intervention.

QUOTES BY UNKNOWN AUTHORS

Be careful who you talk to. A listening ear is also a running mouth.

Be careful who you open up to. Only a few people actually care, the rest are just curious.

  1. Great advise Tangie! We do need to P.U.S.H. as we learn in the parable of the persistent widow! Go to God first in everything, everyday. He always works for our good…

      1. You’re Wecome! My mother’s name was Tangee. She said she was named after a brand of make-up. I love that name and I passed it on to my oldest daughter💕
