Spiritual mothers love God, their families and their spiritual daughters. These women of God also show love to those who cross their paths. They are humble and often go unnoticed became they do not seek attention.
Perhaps most of us are familiar with the biblical example of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31; but Verse 29 better describes my spiritual mothers Sister Mathews, Sister Carr and Sister Powell, “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
I have known these sisters for over twenty years, and they remain faithful women pleasing God. People are often forgotten after relocating to another state, but these sisters have not forgotten the Woods family.
FINAL THOUGHTS
My spiritual mothers in Alabama and my two spiritual mothers in Florida live by example in every way that pleases God. I am encouraged by their steadfastness in the faith to stand out from the world and take a bold stand sharing the Gospel of Jesus. I truly appreciate God for allowing all of my spiritual mothers to nourish my mind, body and soul.
