Sadly the Lord’s Day is no longer the way it used to be. People really need that day of rest to worship God.

I am old enough to remember when stores were closed on Sunday. Church people did not go to the restaurants on Sunday.
Times have truly changed!

Agree, times sure have change to the point of minds being on everything but worshipping God in Sprit and in Truth. (John 4:23-24)

My writing is going slow, but steady.
How are you doing?

Awesome. Steady is good. I am okay despite chronic pain.

This is just so true and so sad. I wish we could go back to old times when no shops were open etc.

I remember those days too when all businesses were closed except restaurants for those who wished to go out to eat AFTER worship services.

Yes, and Good Fridays too. Nothing was open on Good Friday. Sunday felt sacred even though many peoplecdid not believe and to them it was a bind. Though it did give them some family time, it is sad isnt it Tangie
