Bloom Where You Are Planted

Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. (1 Corinthians 7:17)

“‘Listen then to what the parable of the Sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.’

‘But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.’

‘But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the world and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.'” (Matthew 13:18-23)

In Matthew 13:24, Jesus told another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.” (Recommend reading the entire chapter).

Why are seeds planted underground? What is required for seeds to grow and bloom? How do you know when seeds thirst for water? Need fertilizer? Need Sunshine? Need Pruning? Everything needed for the growth of seeds are provided by the gardener.

What about us? Even though everyone will not obey the Gospel, we are seeds planted in an ungodly world to bloom as disciples of Jesus. Our mission is to teach the Gospel in hope of leading lost souls to the SON Light towards salvation. Everything needed for eternal life has been provided by our God, our Lord and our Savior through His Blood.

There is a season for everything, therefore, we must be planted in the right seasons for growth. I was in a dark place physically in my season suffering from sprain of right shoulder joint, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, wrist sprain, hand sprain, contusion of back, bicipital tenosynovitis, sprain of neck.

Sprain of hand, metacarpophalangeal, displacement of lumbar intervertebral disc, degeneration of lumbar, lumbosacral intervertebral disc, thoracic/lumbosacral neuritis, radiculitis and sixteen medical procedures.

Diagnosed with Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance and Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 2. Hence, I started blogging in June 2019 as an outlet and to encourage others to keep the faith and hold on to the hands of our loving Lord and Savior, the mediator between us and God. (1 Timothy 2:5)

FINAL THOUGHTS

I am an open person and share what I hope is beneficial to others. I walk as a testimony of how God sustains me through multiple health issues. I appreciate all of you for your encouragement and for blooming with me supporting MRS. T’S CORNER.

I have not forgotten about you, and I am slowly visiting your blogs. In the meantime, “Do not let anyone pull you up from where you are planted in the Lord.” — Tangie T. Woods

    1. Hello Georgetta, thank you very much. I love the way God is using me through blogging. It is my passion to share His Word. It blesses me while encouraging others, and to think I started blogging almost a year after getting over my fear of the unknown. When the Spirit moves us to do something, we need to move. Blessings my sister, still praying for you and remain safe.

      1. You and I shared a common fear. I had my blog for three years before I had enough nerve to actual write anything. I didn’t think I had anything people wanted to read.

I have a plaque in my livingroom that reads “Bloom Where You are Planted” Father God had me purchase the plaque the year I started actually composing articles for the blog. Father God had to destroy the people-pleaser and perfectionism in me.🤣

      2. 😮 the same applied to me “Father God had to destroy the people-pleaser and perfectionism in me,” so I could focus on pleasing Him. This is another perfect example why I enjoy blogging and virtually connecting with likeminded people.

I started blogging due to my health issues (and personal issues that resulted from so many physical battles). I love you, sister, and pray for your physical strength and continuation of your amazing testimony. Hugs! 💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
