We asked our five-year-old granddaughter what the item was below. She said, “I don’t know.” We told her and she asked “Where is the charger?
It is amazing when my spiritual mother Sister Copeland sends devotions that relates to my subject in the midst of writing. “We all have days where we don’t know how we will go on. Loved ones hurts us. Finances worry us. Sickness may overtake us. We lose people we love. But God will always be there to get us through the tough times. Keep the faith. Amen.” END OF DEVOTION
We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” (2 Corinthians 4:8-10)
Do you know where to find the spiritual charger? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:2)
It is acceptable for our granddaughter to say she doesn’t know what something is, but it will not be okay on the Judgment Day for those who live contrary to the commandments of God. Sadly, some of us will be caught not fully charged with the word of God.
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–His eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)
