According to Wikipedia SOS is a distinctive Morse code sequence and not an abbreviation, but in popular usage it is associated with phrases such as “Save Our Ship.” Moreover, due to its high-profile use in emergencies, the phrase “SOS” has entered general usage to informally indicate a crisis or the need for action.
The biggest crisis and action needed now is Saving Our Soul from this wicked world? Can ethics, morals or faith in everyday life save our souls? Can abstaining from all appearances of evil save our soul? Can family members, friends or ministers save our souls? No.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Do not lose your soul trying to save someone else’s. In Acts 2:40 we are told to save ourselves from this untoward generation following God’s Plan of Salvation. Be mindful that Satan wants our minds to be addle towards the gospel of Jesus instead of having adoration for it.
