The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. (John 10:1–16).
Thank you big brother Matt at http://jesusluvsall.wordpress.com/ for inspiration to publish Monday Motivational Music blogs.
The Bible is full of powerful words concerning healing. It seems no matter who we are, or where we live, there are many living with various types of illnesses, diseases, chronic pain and suffering. In addition to the word of God, not a replacement for God’s word, music is relaxation and therapy for my mind and body.
“Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.” (Isaiah 58:8)
Just as shepherds guarded their sheep and cared for them day and night, so does God care for us. Even when life gets difficult God protects us and guides us as the perfect Shepherd.
“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for thou are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)
Bible verses on healing should provide peace in the midst of suffering. I encourage you to keep leaning into your faith and praising God in all seasons regardless what may come. Remember, God is the author of healing. So, we must make sure the Shepherd knows our name even if He chooses not to heal our bodies.
