I Will Not Be Shaken

I am a fan of Building 429 but have not heard them in a while until a couple of days ago. I thought this song make a great title and subject.

I started penning this last night and even embedded the above video. However, ‘MY’ message did not flow because it was not spiritually inspired. So, I turned off the laptop and watched several television shows.

About 5:00 a.m., this morning I told my husband I will have the surgery. At 5:30 a.m., I got up to start my morning devotion with no intentions of reading from the Book of Psalms. However, the Holy Spirit led me to Psalm 30:1-12, focusing on Verse 6, which states When I felt secure I said, “I will never be shaken.” Whoa!

Sister C. Robinson, wife of an elder, at our home congregation in Montgomery, Alabama texted the below image. I said No Way!

I also read Psalm 16:9-11, “Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.’

‘You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence with eternal pleasures at your right hand.’” Her text was on time and I thought it was final confirmation of my decision.

However, GOD ordered these messages to be sent how He wanted to confirm the right decision for me. The final confirmation was Psalm 118:21, an image from Sister Copeland. For some reason her image would not upload in WordPress but the message below is the same.

The LORD moved these two Women of GOD to bless my peace of mind. Tonight, I was able to pen this spiritual inspired blog giving GOD the glory.

I believe He says to me “Go in peace. Your journey has the LORD’s approval” (Judges 18:6).

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers, thoughts and encouraging words. Have a great day/night and remain safe in the arms of GOD.

    1. Elise, thank you so much and I appreciate your words of encouragement. When I first started blogging in June 2019, it was an outlet to share my health experiences in hope of encouraging others. I never imagine how GOD would bless us via virtually. Words cannot express how therapeutic this is for me and for others as I am told. Have a wonderful day/night and remain safe in our Loving Father’s arms.

  3. Sister Tangie,
Thank you for your words of wisdom and encouragement. I was just thinking that these blogs are such precious, beautiful gems and that you could one day have them all in your published book. I would love to see and have such a publication.
Your posts are all very insightful and thought-provoking and even more than that, you help to motivate us into action – not only hearers / readers but doers also.
Thanks very much again. May God continue to bless your life and your work.

    1. Elise, I am smiling after reading your message. At the beginning of the year, I used Saturdays to start writing new blogs for publishing but put that idea on hold. Yesterday, my husband and I discussed upcoming writing projects and this one was on my mind. Thank you for the additional confirmation, support and encouragement to pick up where I left off and get it published. Have a marvelous day.

      1. Dear Tangie,
Thank you for the thoughts expressed. I am happy that the project was not shelved. I am really looking forward to your new ventures. Many blessings!
Have a great day with the Lord!
        Warm regards,
