Who is the Master of Your Fate?

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both GOD and mammom (Matthew 6:24).

As you are aware there are many people and devices being used by the devil to draw us away from GOD. However, we have been given away of escape as noted in 1 Corinthians 10:9-15, which states “We should not test Christ, as some of them did–and were killed by snakes. And do not grumble, as some of them did–and were killed by the destroying angel. These things happened to them as examples and were written down as WARNINGS for us. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall.’

‘No temptation has overtaken [us] except what is common to mankind. And GOD is faithful; He will not let [us] be tempted beyond what [we] can bear. But when [we] are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that [we] can endure it. Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. I speak to SENSIBLE people; judge for YOURSELVES what I say.‘”

“Submit yourselves to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come near to GOD and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the LORD, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:7-10).

In every facet of our lives we must make decisions about our careers, our relationships, our support network, our health, our personal development, our lifestyle, but more importantly the role that GOD plays in our lives.

Sometimes we allow our lives to get so busy with secular activities, and personal aspirations, that we still down play the role of GOD despite clearly seeing worldwide evidence of down playing Him, Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit.
