Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptation; That the Trial of your Faith, being much more precious than of gold that perished, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
During the discovery phase in the trial for our life will the prosecutor have enough evidence to convict us of being converted Christians? Or will our defense attorney recommend that we take a plea deal for lack of evidence of a Christian lifestyle based on the scriptures?
Have you ever experience sitting through a criminal trial, or served on a jury for criminal offenses? I am thankful the one time I served as a juror was for a non-criminal trial. Why? I would be devastated finding out I was one of twelve who convicted an innocent person.
Now, regarding the trial for our “eternal life”, I considered the earth to be GOD’s courtroom; and how we live is His fact-finding stage. Therefore, be mindful of “But I say unto you, that every idle word men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by our words we shall be justified, and by our words we shall be condemned.” (Matthew 12:36-37)
On the Judgment Day, GOD will be the only Judge and the only juror. He will be the only prosecutor, the only defense attorney, and the only eye witness. There will be no offer of a plea deal or probation. There will be no fact-finding nor will a court reporter be required to transcribe depositions.
There will be no motions for a new trial or for an appeal. It will be too late to have our counsel present and no time for cross examination. There will be no closing arguments to justify our reasons for not obeying the Gospel of Jesus.
“For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that [we] are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)

The trial of our life will end with “Well done my good and faithful servant, or depart from me ye who do iniquity….” Are you ready if Jesus returns while reading this blog?
FINAL THOUGHT
NOW is the only time we have to maintain a godly life and a spiritual relationship with GOD. “Go to now, ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.’
‘For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or do that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.'” (James 4:13-17)
Amen! What a blessed day that will be.

Hi Joni, thank you for checking on me. I did not get good news on the 4th because my numbers are off the chart; and my appointments changed from quarterly to every two months. However, this might change to every four to six weeks depending on the pathology report. Hopefully, the next report is better and I don’t have to go through another painful bone marrow biopsy. Appreciate you sisters and I am glad to be apart of a caring blogging community. Love and blessings to you and your family. Remain safe.
