Has the pandemic negatively disrupted your life? Are you unemployed and financially strapped? Are you feeling loneliness or humiliation due to your current state?
Are you a single unemployed parent who cannot adequately care for your child, or children? Are you suffering from illnesses and pain that reap havoc on your mind and body?
I was in so much pain the first week of June I ended up in the Emergency Room and on three days of bed rest.

Are you dealing with job-related issues? Are you dealing with family and frenemies’ drama? Are you experiencing a heartbreak from a divorce, or separation?
Is your mind fill with sorrow, or sadness, from a recent death of a loved one? Are you suffering from joylessness or unhappiness?
A couple of years ago, I spoke at a Ladies Day Program on the theme “A Christian Woman Through the Ages–Trials & Triumphs at Every Age.” My assignment was to speak from a middle age woman’s perspective (Proverb 11:16a).
Regardless of things happening around us, and to us, we, particularly disciples of Jesus, must maintain our spiritual connection to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us on this journey call life.
For us to stay on the narrow path of our journey, we must keep the whole armor of GOD that comes with courage, faith, and perseverance to shield the salvation of our soul. I admit it is definitely difficult at times but…

Let us briefly look at Job, a well-known biblical figure. According to the scriptures he did not sin against GOD while going through his life’s tempests.
Job maintained a righteous attitude which displayed his belief and trust in GOD, not in his possessions. A man with everything is nothing without GOD. Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshipped.”
Job said “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job did not sin, nor charged GOD foolishly.”
During our lowest and vulnerable moments, Job’s amazing attitude is a perfect example when we are faced with tactics from Satan and those who choose to do his evil bidding.
Job was one of many who maintained his integrity and his love for GOD. In return for his faithfulness, his triumphs was “So, the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning” (Job 42:12-17).
So, we must ensure there are no un-repented iniquities blocking GOD from hearing our prayers (Isaiah 59:2).
FINAL THOUGHT
“The same ocean that brings a tsunami can sail a ship on calm water”–Felton D. Woods
The above quote means to patiently wait for your calmness. Remember, Christians are not free from trials and tribulations, but our outcome depends on who we trust to get us through our tempests.
I praise GOD for MY trials that turned into triumphs. Now, I am standing still in contentment waiting for the greatest promotion of my life from earth to glory.
Do you charge GOD foolishly?
Will you allow GOD to turn your trials into triumphs?
Are you contemplating returning to the world like Demas and many others?
Do you lose your patience and endurance while going through life’s tempests?
I have learned over the past year on how to be content. There were times that were very difficult, but I just had a deep calmness.
Even when I was being put under in the operating room I had no fear or worry.
I did not blame God for any of it.

Even in the darkest moments of our lives, even when can’t feel God or trace Him, we have faith in His word, that He is always there for us.
