“For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.” (II Thessalonians 3:11)
We are told not to be shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by anyone, as that the day of Christ is at hand. We are not to let anyone deceive us by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. The wicked will be revealed after the working of Satan with deceivableness of unrighteousness that God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. (II Thessalonians 2:1-17)
As I think about all the evil that I have experienced, witnessed, and at times participated in words, thoughts or deeds many years ago, I admitted to needing a brainwash. When I converted to Christianity, I was told not to let those people, Christians, brainwash me into believing their lies and interpretation of the Scriptures.
I was also told that the church [Body of Christ] was a cult and given an ultimatum to choose God or family, friends and acquaintances. As you can see, I chose God and He allowed those negative people to be removed permanently from my life. This is the importance of studying the Scriptures without outside negative influences. Matthew 10:37 tells us not to put anyone before Him.
I am thankful that my brain was washed with the Gospel of Jesus. Yes! Guilty as charged. I exchanged worldliness for a transformed and righteous mind, and a lifetime sentence, without the chance of being release from my Heavenly citizenship.
The devil’s demonic forces tried to divide, deceive and dominate my mind; and destroy my soul.
Be mindful there is no division in God’s Kingdom and He does not bless unrighteousness; therefore, save yourselves from this untoward generation (Acts 2:40).
Heaven is a place where there will be no more tears, seeing no more death, sorrow, crying and pain; and free from evil of this world; a world that God promised will be burned up (II Peter 3:10).
Do not follow the masses to Hell. We must forsake all unrighteousness and follow God’s Plan of Salvation to place our citizenship in Heaven. Let us discard the seed of hatred for the seed of love to live eternally in a place where there will be few people without favoritism and those from every nation who fears Him and obeys His commandments (Acts 10:34-35, Matthew 7:14; Luke 13:23-24; Matthew 22:14; Matthew 7:21).
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that neededth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. But shun profane and vain babblings; for they will increase unto more ungodliness. (II Timothy 2:15-16)
