“This is a big week in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. On Monday, Dec. 14, the very first COVID-19 vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency use was administered to millions of frontline workers across the country. This comes as COVID-19 deaths per day in the U.S. are topping 3,000. There are currently around two dozen COVID-19 vaccines and treatments in development, all of which may help to abate or end the pandemic.” Source: The Coronavirus Vaccine Number No One Is Talking About (but Should Be) (msn.com)
A vaccine in hope of bringing the COVID-19 pandemic to a halt is wonderful news. Sadly, millions have died and some who survive are dealing with declining health and side effects. Please understand that I do not make light of this pandemic and those who were caught up in its wrath. Some of my very close relatives had this deadly virus and are now experiencing major health side effects. My empathy is sincere for all affected families.

However, there is a more pressing issue with each of us fighting against Satan for our soul. Jesus, our soul vaccination sent and approved by God, is coming back soon like a thief in the night. Are we as prepared for His return as we are for the COVID-19 vaccine? Will we be ready to stand before God, the only One who can, and will, give our soul the inoculation of “Well done my good and faithful servant” or “Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
The devil knows his time is short and is diligently dispatching more demonic forces to tempt us to sin against God. Perhaps some believe there will be time to repent before Jesus’ return. But what happens if He returns in the midst of our sin? “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. (Hebrews 10:26)

Jesus said in John 17:4 “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” Are we striving to be prepared to meet our Maker in each moment God allows us to live?
FINAL THOUGHT
We must remain steadfast in the faith and not put our soul salvation in the hands of Satan. In doing so, he rubs his hands together and cheerfully await our sentence to eternal damnation.
“Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore, be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:42-44)

We should live our lives in preparedness of His coming. 💯

Hello Msdedeng, I have been posting weekly at different times and different days. I am striving to post consistently on the same day at the same time but being inspired at different times make it difficult to stay on a schedule. I am on leave until January 4, 2021, and will post more often. Thank you for your kind words, and for reading and commenting. Remain safe.

I like your plan, if you can stick to it. That’s where the challenge lies like you say.
I hope you have a good time with family and friends. Have a Happy Holiday and New Year, and see you soon.
Take care!

The following response is part of one of my upcoming blogs. Introduction to the plan of salvation is not always easy and neither is the Christian journey. However, the Holy Spirit comforts us and bring to remembrance the Word of God to give us strength to flee from the devil’s schemes and not indulge in sinful acts but to help us bear fruit of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:16-25).
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (I Corinthians 10:13)
Happy Holiday seasons. Thank you for reading and commenting and remain safe.
