“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in our way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of naïve people. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” (Romans 16:17-18, 20)

We all must come to term that we live in a different world. So different that my husband Felton Woods, Minister of the Gainesville Church of Christ where we worship gave a perfect example in his sermon. He stated “Before the coronavirus pandemic we were not allowed to wear a mask inside a bank. Now, it is highly probable we will be ask to leave a bank if we do not wear a mask.”
There is another public change with Christians attacking one another due to different political beliefs. Our behavior is govern by the gospel of Jesus and we must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught to encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For there are many rebellious people full of meaningless talk and deception. They must be silenced because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain. (Titus 1:9-11)

Are we eagerly fighting with the same tenacity for the salvation of our soul? Each passing day we get closer to Jesus’ return and need to hold on to biblical instructions and do not let it go. We are instructed to guard it well for it is our life and not to set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it and do not travel on it, turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil, they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. (Proverbs 4:13-16)
These are times that try our soul. Therefore, I ask you to come walk with me on the spiritual path starting with the Narrow Road bypassing the Broad Road which leads to destruction that many are traveling according to the scriptures. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Next, my spiritual map takes us on a journey to Ephesians 4:3-6 that connects Unity Highway with Solidarity and Like-Minded People. Keep walking with me to Matthew 28:18 where Jesus stated that all authority was given to Him for us to travel down Evangelism Highway making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to obey everything that He commanded. Sadly, we cannot do this while attacking one another and causing others to be cynical of the gospel of Jesus and the Body of Christ.

I was experiencing mental exhaustion from hearing the considerable amount of misinformation and attacks surrounding secular activities so the Holy Spirit redirected me to Honesty Terrace that led to Let Us Not Become Weary in Doing Good Street. Hebrews Chapter 11 was finally in sight to see Unwavering Minds Avenue. I made a stop here to share the hope and faith I profess.
Are you tired? If so, I will continue walking alone to avenues of Humbleness, Gentleness, Patience and Bearing With One Another In Love? We can use much love and SON shine on the very long highway Making Every Effort to Keep the Unity of the Spirit Through the Bond of Peace.
Before our last stop we are now being led to Godliness Street to bring to our remembrance of whose we are as Christians. This is where we add to our faith more goodness; and to goodness more knowledge; and to knowledge more self-control; and to self-control more perseverance, and to perseverance more godliness; and to godliness more mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love to be effective and productive in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today’s spiritual walk will end with us traveling down the very long highway Make Sure to Gain Wisdom, Knowledge and Most of All Understanding. While traveling down this highway it requires a large bag to pick up many biblical commandments and words of insight for receiving instruction in prudent behavior.
In conclusion, Americans decide the outcome of the presidential election. We decide the salvation of our soul eternal destiny by the way we live our life and God will decide our sentence on Judgment Day. Be mindful that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instructions so let us reverently fear the Lord to be ready to meet our Maker. God is angry and His Word is FINAL!

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth. (John 4:23-24)
We can go incognito to remove our Christian masks but understand there is no place that God cannot hear our thoughts or see our written words. We must ask God for clarity of our thoughts to free minds from focusing on secular activities, people and situations that are inconsequential on our spiritual journey. We must not give Satan the best of us. – Tangie T. Woods
Do you want to travel down the Godly Narrow to Heaven?
That is an awesome blog. I enjoyed the way your journey led us to our final destination. I plan to travel that road until the end. God has blessed you with so much talent and you are using it to His glory. Hello to the family.

I held onto the faith that whatever the outcome was all in God’s plan. People aren’t learning the lessons and it is quite sad, but all we can do is pray for a better world and spread as much love as possible. As I said to another woman of great faith this week, I am not nearly as learned as you in the bible, BUT I believe I have more faith than many. If I didn’t, I would have crumbled a long time ago.

Agree that nothing than happen without God allowing it. Our behaviors continue to display we still do not understand the wrath of God and how He angry He is with some of His children’s misbehaving and at a wicked world. I concur we must have faith. I believe I too would have crumbled a long time ago without it. Thank you for reading and sharing feedback. Remain safe.

Well said, Tangie! Now that the US election is finally over, 😊 we add that extra time (whether as Americans or expectators from afar), as sanctified in CHRIST JESUS to the larger time that we focus/devout on the Triune GOD; in humility, gentleness, and patience. GOD bless you and your family!

The election is over but the hatred, high tensions and conspiracy theories and threats from opposing party continues. I just finished reading an article “Arkansas police chief resigns after calling for violence against Democrats. One of many things I like about bloggers on WordPress is that I have yet to see such behavior as seen on Facebook and other social media sites. Thank you for reading and commenting. God blessings to you and your family as well. Remain safe.

We will pray to the Triune GOD for the healing of hearts, opening of minds, surrendering to GOD’s sovereign will, godly love towards each other, and make GOD higher (if not far highest) than one’s political preference. Only the Triune GOD can mend hearts and allow people, especially Christians, to go beyond politics and falsehoods and focus instead on GOD’s grace and our sanctification process. We pray also for the renewal of confidence to and decency be back in world leadership. Indeed that observation is correct, Tangie, there are no/not much trolls in WordPress than in Facebook, for that reason I diverted my time from fb to WP since January 2020. A blessed week to you and your family!

Hi Tangie,
Many Christians were short of conforming, to how the world behave and demonstrated their feelings carnally, rather than exercising spiritual conduct towards worldly affairs!
