Sunshine Blogger Award

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.” — Erma Bombeck

Thank you, Julie, for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I truly relate to your story having to face many storms and weathering them with God’s grace and mercy. He is so worthy to be praised. Again, I appreciate you thinking of me to be nominated.

Julie is a woman who has faced many storms in her life, and have had many ups and downs, but the One who has gotten her this far is Jesus. She stated, “He loves me so much He died for me, and everything he suffered for my sake makes my pain and suffering seem so much smaller. Now I just want to share with others all He has done for me, and hope I encourage at least one person with what I share.”

  1. Thank you so much for including my JanBeek on your list. I appreciate your affirmation, Tanji. I will probably not post this on my blog because I have trouble getting the awards to show properly on my site, but I am nevertheless grateful for your friendship and acknowledgement… and I will answer those questions here:

Which continent (not country) do you live? N. America
How long have you been blogging? 8 years
How many blogs have you published? thousands?
Do you like cats or dogs? If not, what animal do you like? I love dogs. Their unconditional, agape love is a treasure. We have a Boston Terrier who brightens our days.
On a scale of one to ten, how do you rate your blogging experience? 10
On a scale of one to ten, how do you rate the blogging community? 10
Do you have much interaction with fellow bloggers? Yes
Has your expectation been met of the blogging community? More than met…
How often do you post? At least daily
What / Who inspired you to blog? Lilie Allen introduced me to WordPress. She has a blog, TeaToast&KIndness
Have you ever started blogging, stopped, and restarted? When I began in 2012, I posted mostly weekly. With little response, I hardly blogged at all in 2013, but when I was encouraged to follow-up daily on an A-Z post, the bug bit me… and I have pretty much blogged daily ever since.
