Do you have hidden talents? If so, what reasons are they not utilized and shared? Today, I showcase three young ladies and one of their many talents. They are Tanya Sheik, a fellow blogger; and our daughters Audriana Woods and Ashley Woods.
For thirty-three years, I have been technically writing and editing materials for federal agencies. During this time, I received numerous unexpected commendations and awards for my knowledge, skills and abilities that benefited millions of military warriors across the globe. When generals, colonels, other ranking officials and supervisors admired my writing style, I understood it was more than doing my job but a “hidden talent” I could not see.
For many years, I resisted the Holy Spirit’s nudge to move out of my spiritual comfort zone to start blogging. I also resisted encouragement from Brother Woods, our daughters, my friend and spiritual writing mentor, the late Ruth Williams, as well as resisting encouragement from my spiritual mothers. When I stopped resisting and started blogging, unbeknownst to me that others from around the globe would resonate with my blog. Fear hindered me for a very long time from using and sharing my spiritual talents to encourage others and to be encouraged with the added benefit of interacting with fellow bloggers, followers and viewers in many countries.
I briefly shared my examples to encourage and showcase beautiful pencil sketches of Tanya, Audriana and Ashley. These young ladies are very talented and need encouraging to use and share talents to bless others.
The first two pencil sketches below were done by our fellow blogger Tanya Sheik
The pencil sketch below was done by our daughter Audriana many years ago.
The pencil sketch below was done by our daughter Ashley many years ago.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in it various forms. I Peter 4:10
Great job Tanya, Audriana and Ashley.
Fellow bloggers, please help me encourage these beautiful young ladies to keep up the good work and use their talents in ways to bless others.
Have a beautiful day and be safe.

Thank you. I too am glad we met virtually on the blogosphere. Sorry for late response, I found approximately 500 comments in spam and must go through 80 published blogs to respond to missed comments.

Hi there I pray all is well! Awesome work ladies! It is great to have those individuals in your life who encourage you especially those who push you to pursue talents and be your very best. I was gifted with many talents not sure if there are any hidden because I’ve explored so many LOL.
I have a 19-year-old daughter which I definitely encourage her to explore her talents as well as those I feel are hidden.

I’ve learned, the hard way, that if you don’t (or won’t) use your talents you could wind up like Jonah.

Tangie, I will encourage your fellow blogger as well as your girls. Take an example from you. When you unveiled your hidden talent, look how you have gotten national recognition , and have touched so many lives. So take faith iver fear, and persue that hidden talent.
