Remain Calm, Hang in There!

Greetings everyone, I hope you and your family are well. I miss our virtual interaction and reading your blogs. Please know, I have not abandon you or blogging; just trying to adjust to a different work environment and new routine.

Lord willing, I will catch up reading your blogs and respond to comments sooner than later. Also, I finally checked my emails and was pleasantly surprised by the increase in blog followers. Thank you all and welcome to our blogging family. You also will hear from me soon.

Sadly, we are seeing worldwide suffering from COVID-19. But let us not forget in our thoughts and prayers medical professionals who have left families behind to care for those affected by this crisis. Also, remember those who are homeless and suffering physically, mentally and spiritually.

I hope you find encouragement in the sermon URL and scriptures below. Until we meet again, please keep calm and hang in there. This too shall pass!

ENCOURAGING SERMON: Hang On In There

eW“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world yet shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“The LORD will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” Psalm 9:9

“He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days RISE again.” Mark 8:31

“The LORD is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.” Psalm 118:14

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

“Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalm 55:22

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:6

“So, do not far, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither depth nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor dept, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 8:37-39

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts and through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:5-6

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him!”

As always, I appreciate you, your support and encouraging words. In the meantime, please be safe.

  1. Great blog. Sister Pecola Barnes, who lived to be 104 years old said “Tie a knot and hang on.” So we are going to hang in there. I love and appreciate you so much.
