In 2016, two sisters in Christ, Priscilla Darling and Cindy Davis, got together to form a sisterhood with the purpose of creating a bond and unifying North Central Florida Sisters in congregations of the Church of Christ. Their mission was to work together in order to be the difference in local communities. After sending out letters describing the purpose of Sisters in Spirit (SIS) four sisters from their local congregations met over breakfast to establish SIS.
The group’s current membership consists of approximately twenty women with the purpose and goal to share the love of God and provide a one-on-one mobile pavilion of outreach ministries for those who are in need of help and need encouragement. The non-profit organization “Sisters in Spirit” is registered through the State of Florida as a non-denominational group of sisters from various Church of Christ congregations in the North Central Florida Church of Christ Fellowship.
SIS provides community outreach services in small communities with free clothes giveaway and providing food to the underprivileged; visiting nursing homes, and providing other assistance as needed.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10
Thanks for another follow, Tangi
Take care
Blessings

Awesome blog Tangie,
those are definitely some of the hardest working women for the Lord that I have come across.

That is all we can do. I am great and will start teleworking, Lord willing, at 7:00 in the morning. After 33 years in an office this is something to get used to, others said they might as well be at work. I will see…

That will be quite a change for you. I pray it is a smooth transition. We are working from home too at my company except for essential personnel.
