In Holy Fear, Do You Hear Me Now?

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in HOLY FEAR built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.” (Hebrews 11:7)

This blog is not written lightly to discredit the importance our physical health. But, in an early morning conversation with my husband, he said something that triggered my thoughts how God destroyed the earth once due to great wickedness.

The world is battling an outbreak of a new coronavirus called COVID-19, which started in the city of Wuhan, China, and has been spreading since. The virus has claimed over 4,000 lives and infected more than 100,000 people around the world. The World Health Organization declared a global pandemic on March 11. Source: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-declared-the-coronavirus-pandemic-a-national-emergency-what-does-that-mean/ar-BB119Afr?ocid=spartandhp

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Psalms_86-11

The world is in a bad state of affair when GOD’s heart is not just troubled, but deeply troubled, to the point that He regretted creating mankind. So, the LORD said,…

I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created, and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground–for I regret that I have made them. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.” (Genesis 6:6-8)

Critical Condition

Yes, this world is in critical condition. Therefore, it is crucial for us to perform an open Bible surgery and obey the commandments of God to save ourselves from this untoward generation. Our soul needs to be moved out of the intensive care unit and into a private stabilized room ready to face the judgment seat of Christ. (II Corinthians 5:10)

Beware of Opportunists

Beware of those marketing cures for the COVID-19 virus. This reminds me of those previously scammed throughout the years by those claiming to have been appointed by God as His spokesperson to reveal the date of Jesus’ return. According to New Testament scriptures, God no longer speaks directly to men.

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son (through scriptures) whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom also He made the universe.”

Those projected dates supposedly revealed by opportunists have passed; and the world still stands, even though in critical condition.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, NOR THE SON, but ONLY the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.” Mark 13:32

We must be like the Bereans who were more noble character than those in Thessalonica for they studied and examined the Scriptures daily to see if Paul preached truth. (Acts 17:11).

“Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” (II Thessalonians 5:1-2 and II Peter 3:8).

Thieves do not tell us when they plan to break into our houses. If they did, we would take every precaution to stop them or await their arrival. This is exactly why God is not revealing Jesus’ return date because many will continue in wickedness until the day before Jesus returns.

Yes, the world is battling an outbreak of a new coronavirus called COVID-19. However, nothing in this world can happen unless God allows it, and since His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, I can only imagine Him asking us “IN HOLY FEAR, DO YOU HEAR ME NOW?”

  1. I like those 2 medical terms used open bible surgery and intensive care. The times are critical. We mudt continue to pray for the souls of all men. Continue to fear and trust God and this to shall pass.

  2. These are great scriptures but there is also Psalms 91 that talks all about how if we live in the Lord He will protect us from pestilence and plagues. The world is in a bad place I agree with you my friend but God takes care of his faithful. Hope you are blessed today my friend. Love 💕 Joni

  3. Thank you for these thoughts. The world is in a chaotic state with fear. This virus is a part of living in this world and this too shall pass. God is in control of everything and we can have peace knowing we are in His hands.
