Has anyone asked how you were doing but started talking about something else before you could respond? Really! Who Cares? It happened to me many times. It is definitely a fair question. My thought was they do not care, it is just a greeting from being creatures of habit.
This blog is not grouping everyone in a lack of care category. There are many people who genuinely have concern for others. Brother Woods and I are two of them. I have been afforded many opportunities to speak with young women from different socioeconomic backgrounds and different faiths. The common denominator in their conversations was “No one really cares.”
Some of these women felt like failures. Some did not have lives they had hoped for. Some looked in the wrong places for love. Some spent too much time worrying about what others thought of them. Some worried about what and who they wanted but could not have. Some could not be honest with themselves and acknowledge their bad decisions. Ultimately, they all wanted peaceful lives.
Really? Who Cares? God.
Peaceful Life. What is peace? Peace is a state of tranquility or quietness of spirit that transcends circumstances by renewed minds. Individuals allow others to disturb their peace of mind.
How can peace be experienced? Peace and mercy can be obtained having a genuine godly relationship [connection] with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
How does one experience peace that surpasses all understanding? Cast all your anxiety on God because He cares for you.” (I Peter 5:7)
I hope you are encouraged by reading this blog. Until next time, PEACE.
REFERENCE VERSES:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6).
“For there is one God and One mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus. (I Timothy 2:5)
“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)
“Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” (II Peter 1:2)
Tangie,
with every read from your blogs I am blessed with spiritual knowledge to live by and share with others. I have never heard you continuously say you care, but I have witnessed the works of your caring spiritually and physically.
In my Christian years I have heard many Christians and none Christians say they care and some even show they care, but there were always stipulations and agendas at a later time behind the words and dead actions; which proved they did not really care.
Thank you for not being such as those.

Pat, thank you for reading, following blog and for your positive and encouraging feedback.
You are definitely right about me not saying how much I care because actions speaks louder than words.
I have experienced so much of people telling me they care only to use me. I do not want to imitate that behavior but to imitate Jesus’ actions of showing love and care for others.
Again, thank you.

This is very encouraging and a message a lot of people need to hear. I was one of those worrying all the time about a man that I wanted, but some deep lessons came from that, one being your message here. I am much happier now that I got over that and focus on God and my own life, not needing a man to be happy.

Indeed. “[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
