Greetings everyone, I hope you had a wonderful week, and your weekend is off to a great start of enjoyment. As for me, I am physically exhausted and resting today. This blog is lengthy because I have so much to share about a deep and powerful emotion.
I thought about writing on grief but decided against it a month ago. However, my mind changed yesterday after seeing Facebook posts by Sister Sherry and Leanna. Leanna and I worked together on Maxwell and Gunter Air Force Bases. Her mother died at the end of last year so she too is grieving. Sister Robinson, her mother, was also one of my spiritual mothers in Montgomery.

Have you seen the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness?” The movie’s overview on Google states “Life is a struggle for single father Chris Gardner (Will Smith). Evicted from their apartment, he and young son (Jaden Christopher Syre Smith) find themselves alone with no place to go. Even though Chris eventually lands a job as an intern at a prestigious brokerage firm, the position pays no money. The pair must live in shelters and endure many hardships, but Chris refuses to give into despair as he struggles to create a better life for himself and his son.”

Brother Bell obeyed the gospel in 1979, and was baptized by Brother Oscar Mcbryer at Westside Church of Christ in Chiefland, Florida. He was under the teaching of Brother Alan Drayton and Matthew Moore; two pioneer preachers. He later started worshiping and leading songs at Westside Church of Christ under Minister Michael Dockery.
