Deadly Poisonous Flaming Arrows

Have you ever been guilty of throwing deadly poisonous flaming arrows with negative words at other women? As I reflect on James 3:11, “Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring,” I sadly remember in past times when I inflicted hurt to others with my words, or the way a message was conveyed. However, I am thankful to God that I lived to receive forgiveness from those individuals, and received forgiveness from Him.

Blessings of Spiritual Mothers

“The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed” ~ Titus 2:3-5.

Exactly two years ago today in Montgomery Alabama, my siblings and I laid our mother to rest. November 05, 2017 – November 11, 2017 was the most painful week of our lives. The pain has not ceased, but by God’s grace, we are managing with the loss of our beautiful and loving mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, all siblings, an eleven-month old great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances.
